Jeff Rembert is a well known figure in the thriving art world of Orlando, Florida. A sports writer and business correspondent for several years, Jeff honed his writing talents in the real world of Friday night lights. His scars tell a tale. Now he continues to write political satire as the Associate Editor of the magazine "Forward Florida." Jeff is a board member for the The Kerouac Project, named after the famed writer of the beat generation classic, "On the Road." The project hosts a seasonal writers-in-residence program for emerging writers who ply their skill and trade while living in the Jack Kerouac House in Orlando. This year The Kerouac Project celebrates the author's 100th birthday, but it needs your help to extend its efforts in support of the local literary scene. Join Jeff as he explains the importance of The Kerouac Project to the future of writing and the local literary scene and finds the time to talk about his upcoming short film detailing his father's experiences in WWII.
