Peter Rosenberger is the host of Hope for the Caregiver, a syndicated radio program heard weekly on 200 stations. For more than 30 years, he’s cared for his wife, Gracie, who lives with severe disabilities. Peter is the author of books including 7 Caregiver Landmines: And How You Can Avoid Them, and has been featured in USA Today, AARP Magazine, U.S. News & World Report, Yale Tribune, NYU Dispatch, Harvard University, Yahoo Finance OpenLine, WND, American Thinker, MarketWatch, Detroit Online, and interviewed on television by Steven Forbes, on The 700 Club with Pat Robertson and an encore interview, and Maria Bartiromo with Steve Forbes.
We'll talk with him and with any luck, his wife and muse, Gracie may join us.
For fun, Peter has done a stand-up comedy skit with Jeff Foxworthy titled, You Might be a Caregiver If…
Peter and Gracie founded Standing with Hope, a Christian ministry with a prosthetic limb ministry in West Africa and a Ministry to Family Caregivers.
Peter said, "If you love someone, you’ll be a caregiver. If you live long enough, you’ll need one. Through our caregiver outreach, we’re helping those who help," and Gracie said, "It’s not enough for me to help my fellow amputees stand. We do all this to share the Gospel and equip them to continue Standing With Hope."
Peter finds the humor and his God in caregiving and can help other cargivers do the same. Call us with your questions for Peter. 516-418-5651
