Carrick Felix, was an All-PAC-12 basketball star at Arizona State University where he earned a master’s degree in communications, so we know he’ll be easy to talk with. He was drafted into the NBA by the Cleveland Cavaliers until a crippling knee injury sidelined him for a while. In 2017, after a grueling rehabilitation, he made the final cut to play for the Washington Wizards. Believe it or not, we didn’t ask Carrick here to talk about sports.

A little Carrick Felix Trivia:

  • Carrick attended Millennium High School in Goodyear, Arizona and one of our stories in the March issue of bUneke Magazine briefly mentions Goodyear.
  • His NBA debut was November 22, 2013.
  • He is 6’6” tall now, but was a short youngster.
  • He worked in Silicon Valley as an app developer for a while.
  • He was homeless while in college.
