SDG 399 Worthy is the Lamb

Revelation 5:1–14  

Folks The Lamb IS Worthy!!!

“And I saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals” (Revelation 5:1). 

Now this amazing account told by John happened to him  after he was called up to Heaven.

Apparently his attention is caught by a scroll in the right hand of The King of kings as He sat upon His throne in Heaven.  

Now this book or scroll is very interesting, because in the time of John books were scrolls and they were rolled up and sealed.

Now this particular scroll was sealed with seven seals. 

So the question is: 

What IS this mysterious book that’s in the right hand of our King of Majesty on high that captured the attention John and which means so much to you and me? 

Well this book is the title deed of all of creation; and the title deed to this earth. 

This is the official document that is going to determine the outcome of all human history.

It’s a symbolic way of saying to everyone that the LORD Jesus Christ has redeemed the world, and now the evidence of this redemption and Jesus’s legal right to it all is in His hand!

Join us as we learn that Jesus bought us, wrote it down, had it witnessed and then sealed it as we look at three truths contained in Revelation 5:

One: The tragic weakness of civilization. 

Two: The triumphant worthiness of the LORD Jesus Christ. 

Three: The thrilling worship of all creation.
