SDG117: The Blessed Hope is The Soon Return of Jesus

Titus 2:11–15

Today we are looking at THE CERTAINTY of the soon return of our LORD Jesus Christ. Now this is one of the most important scriptures of the entire Bible covering one of the most important topics. There are ominous signs all around us of the end times! 

Now my Bible teacher Adrian Rogers used to say things are getting gloriously dark!  And what he meant was that as the world gets darker and darker the saints only get brighter and brighter! So if Jesus Christ is coming, and He is, and if He’s coming soon and He is; what does that mean to me and you?

Well Paul told Titus that this is The Blessed Hope! And what this lost and fallen world needs to know is that there IS hope! Now for some people, there is no hope and for other people they have a false hope and many people with hope cling to false hopes.

So in this message we are looking at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ knowing that it is a certainty, AND a blessed hope:

Jesus is coming again.  And He may come soon in fact even before we finish this message!

Now, this Biblical hope is simply faith of the future tense.

It's when we know that we know that we know that, we will see Him VERY SOON with our very own eyes!

Now, if that's true, and it is true; then how should we be living in these last days?

Well in this message we'll look at 6 life changing qualities of this blessed hope and what they will do for you and me as believers!

We'll see that this blessed hope is:

A purifying hope.

An encouraging hope.

A unifying hope.

A challenging hope.

A stabilizing hope. And...

A comforting hope!
