SDG 51 Holy Aspirations

Philippians Chapter 3 verse 10

That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death;

This important message outlines God's formula for true Biblical success Not Success as defined by this world!

And believe me when I say there is a HUGE difference.  I learned the hard way. 

My prayer and hope is that by sharing this very personal message with all you some of you may be spared the angst and wasted time I am guilty of while spending decades pursuing worldly rather than heavenly riches…

So let me start by asking you a few questions.

If you get to where you're headed right now on your life journey, where will you be when you get there?

If you accomplish your goals for life, what will you have in the end?

Is the life you're now living worth the death Jesus died?

Are you satisfied with your Christian walk?  If so, beware because you’re probably deceived and on a bad path!

The point is whenever you compare yourself to others you lose! 

And here’s what I’m getting at:

Either you look at someone who is down and out and say "Thank God at least I'm better than them!"

Or you compare yourself to someone who appears to have it all together and you say, "I'll never be able to do that!"

BOTH are the wrong way of thinking!

So, we don’t measure ourselves by other people.  We are to fix our sights on Jesus!  He is The Way we are to walk!
