The House impeached President Donald Trump on Wednesday for inciting the attack on the U.S. Capitol last week. The riot left at least five people, including a Capitol Police officer, dead. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said the chamber will send the article of impeachment to the Senate immediately, though there may not be enough time to remove Trump before President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration Jan. 20. Ten House Republicans voted to impeach Trump.
