With Halloween 2 weeks away, our favorite chef---Chef Cherise---shares two recipes that will hit the spot of all the ghoulish guests at your spooky gathering!!!
Mummy Pizza: 3 Cans of Biscuit dough (sliced in half) or English muffins 1 Bottle of Pizza Sauce 2 Packages of whole mozzarella cheese ½ cup of black or green olives Open the can of biscuits and cut them in half the long way. Or cut the English muffins in half. Flatten them out on a greased cookie tray. Cover them in the pizza sauce. Cut the mozzarella cheese into thin slices and place them longwise so they look like bandages. Cut the olives into thin slice and place them on the dough so they look like eyes. Bake them on 350 until the cheese melts.
Spider Web Taco Dip:
3 pounds of ground beef 2 Cups of Mexican Blend Cheese 1 can of refried beans Lettuce ½ Cup Guacamole Sour Cream 3 packages of Taco Seasoning In a skillet brown the beef with the taco seasoning, drain off the excess oil. In another pot heat the beans. On a platter lay out the meat and cover it with cheese. Lay the beans flat, and layer another layer of cheese, Lay out the lettuce flat and the guacamole, and layer cheese on top. Use a Pastry bag and fill it with the sour cream, squeeze it to create a web. Use a plastic spider to garnish it. Serve and enjoy with your favorite chips.
