Yup, that's right---it's Friday, and that means that we're cookin' once again with Chef Cherise!!! Brian & Ellen will be preparing this dish---LIVE ON THE AIR!!!
The last time we cooked live with Chef Cherise, was 4 years ago and Brian screamed like a little girl because he forgot the oven mitt and stuck his hand inside the oven!!! Well, we are going to try again---hopefully without any mishaps!!! If you would like to call in and join us, the number is 319-527-6099.
And if you would like to join Brian & Ellen J in making this recipe, here are the ingrediants for Pork Ribs:
2 Slabs of pork ribs, halved 2 medium onions, quartered 6 garlic cloves ¼ cup Lawry’s seasoning salt 1 tablespoons black pepper 1 cup brown sugar (if smoking) Directions: In a large pot of water, add the ribs, onions, garlic, and seasoning. Boil for 1/2 to 1 hour. Remove the ribs from the pot and place on the grill. If baking, place the ribs in a pan and cover with barbeque sauce. Flip as necessary to cook both sides, careful not to burn the barbeque sauce. Serve and enjoy. You can also smoke the ribs for 6-8 hours on a smoker. Just season with Lawry’s, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and brown sugar. I always use some kind of flavored liquor in a small pan inside of the smoker to add some extra flavor.
