Scott Baio is doubling down on claims that he did not molest “Charles in Charge” co-star Nicole Eggert. Baio took to Facebook Live Saturday to dispel the allegations, promising he’d release the proof publicly later on. The actor then released letters Sunday that his lawyers sent the “Dr. Oz” TV show that lay out a timeline of his and Eggert’s sexual relationship and which he says are “evidence” he did nothing wrong.

Please review this letter carefully,” he wrote in another Facebook post along with the document Sunday. “The evidence it contains proves beyond doubt that she initiated our one and only sexual contact and that it was well after she turned 18. The “evidence” is actually an interview Eggert gave on gossip site TheDirty.com claiming that Baio took her virginity at age 17 after the show had wrapped. The missives argue that Eggert must have been 18 at the time of their tryst based on her birthday and the date that the final episode of “Charles in Charge” was shot in 1990.
