    Elexi's mom, Lisa Adrian, used to be in a band with Perri "Pebbles" Reid.    The name of the band was SOFTWARE.  Soon after the band surfaced, Pebbles left to pursue her career and a rich, old man (who funded her music career).  

    After Pebbles broke-up with said man, she married LA Reid.  Soon after that, she became TLC's manager. The rest is history. See link.
