The iconic Christmas classic, "It's A Wonderful Life", comes alive, to a worldwide audience, as Brian the Hammer Jackson and myself, Ellen Johnson, transport you back to Bedford Falls, New York, circa 1946....
Presented by The NOLA Voice Talent Foundation, this benefit production has become a permanent fixture in the New Orleans and region Holiday festivities and has raised thousands of dollars for non-profit organizations throughout the region. This year's main beneficiaries will be The Louisiana chapter of The Children's Tumor Foundation, for Neurofibromatosis support (Baton Rouge, LA.) www.ctf.org/Chapters-Affiliates/Louisiana/ alongside the recently-opened Gretna Cultural Center for the Arts. Leading the cast for this EIGHTH annual benefit production from The NOLA Voice Talent Foundation is ever-present William "Bill" Lee as George Bailey; while Erynne Elkins makes her debut in the production as Mary Hatch Bailey.. The role of Clarence is fulfilled in comical style by the show's producer Stephen James, while New Orleans actor Jackson Townsend plays the evil Henry Potter and the role of the flirtatious Violet Bick is played by Yvette Volker of the world-famous New Orleans singing group, The Pfister Sisters. The production is directed by New Orleans favorite Vatican Lokey, well-known as Professor Carl Nivale. Vatican also wrote the original script, which makes its debut in this production and which he has kindly donated to the Foundation.
