Stead's work as a writer and director has won him awards, acclaim, and a loyal and growing audience. His film experience is compounded by a hands-on, working knowledge of the risks and advantages inherent to the film industry acquired over a ten year career as an independent film finance and development executive. Stead has written over 15 screenplays, including the award-winning Unified Pictures thriller XII and Paris, recently acquired by Picture Perfect.
