Today Brian welcomes his guest: Scott Schneider,   Administrator of the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder/OCD Awareness page on Facebook, a community of OCD support and advocacy with over 14,000 members, a second page is called Attack OCD, and a third is a secret, confidential support group page that is run as a counseling and support center for people who are struggling with OCD called The Ways of the Force. The latter two are based on the Star Wars concept of a brave young Jedi apprentice fighting the Dark Side of the force. The Dark Side of the Force of course is OCD (Darth Osidious Compulsus) and the weapons that are used by the Jedi are all of the tools of knowledge, wisdom, controlled aggression, intellect, thinking, and understanding that are available to use through the means of neuroscience-and psychologically-based research, medication, and therapy information widely available in today's world, especially on the internet.
