Brian The Hammer proudly welcomes the return of Humanitaria, Producer, Woman Entrepreneur of the year - 3 years in a row, Noemi Weis.

Noemi Weis is the President and Producer of Filmblanc, an international production company formed in 1998 dedicated to creating and producing socially relevant films. Noemi will be here to discuss "Let's Talk About It" directed by Oscar Nominee Deepa Mehta

"Did daddy ever hit you in the stomach when you were pregnant with me? Did you feel scared? Did you ever think he would kill you?" Melissa, 10, asks her mother Xiomara Fuentos who migrated to Canada from El Salvador.

Once the innocent and forgotten victims of domestic violence, children break the silence and secrecy of family abuse for the first time in "Let's Talk About It" through intimate conversations with their parents.

"Children are our greatest teachers and I hope this film helps to fuel meaningful action and commitment to stop the cycle of family abuse and give voice to every child and parent living in the unspoken despair of an abusive home", Mehta said. Mehta has created a landscape with the tales of 3 immagrant women from El Salvador, India and Nigeria who share their stories of domestic violence and the resulting negative impact and influence on their children. Let's Talk About It was produced in English, Spanish and Punjabi.

Produced by Canada's Filmblanc in association with Omni TV.

Noemi is a 3 time winner of the Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award and a finalist in the Women Entrepreneur of the World in 2004. A proud member of the Unesco, Team Canada and a Business Ambassador of Ontario, promoting the merits of Canadian Government Trade Missions.
