She is one of the people who got me (Lisa Dryer) started on Brain Injury Network! This is a wonderful interview between two  hosts on a spenetwork committed to the Brain Injury Community! 

My name is Lisa Dryer and my show is "Mess With MS. "I have been on the Brain Injury Radio Network as a guest and as a host for two years now.  When I was a child, I endured learning difficulties and had a seizure disorder. This was caused by the cardiac arrest and the lack of oxygen to my brain as a premature infant in the Neonatal Care Unit. 

When I was an adult, I realized that what I thought was a "learning disability" was actually a brain injury. I had been struggling with awkward health difficulties for a while.

Then I had a CT scan, where I laughed when it showed an abnormal brain reading! I said“I know I am abnormal already! Tell me something I don’t know!” Then, the doctors told me I had M.S.  It is one of the more serious brain mysteries that there are to this day. I continue to collect my diagnosis and I continue to remain a "mess" to this day! But a happy one!
