In support of National Hunger and Homeless Week, the plight of the homeless youth

Homeless youth brings about a whole nother subset of challenges to this already dishearten sector of our communities.  Housing, safety and security, teen pregnancy, gang violence, drug abuse, sexually abuse, and the mere fact of their age is a trial; In concert with a longing for family and a sense of not belonging, struggles with the normal growing pains, personal development, job training , schooling and so much more. My guest Gerald Thompson is going to help us get our brains around this problem so that we can make a difference on the edge by extending a hand out to give a lift up
