As-Salaam-Alaikum,

Ramadan Mubarak (Blessed Ramadan).

As May 19th marks the 93rd birthday of our “Shining Black Prince”, whose life, legacy and death, are still, deeply felt within the black / Muslim communities.

With so much on YouTube on Malcolm, it becomes easy to take sides with or against him and the Nation of Islam. But, it becomes paramount that we learn the lessons of what at times, has been a painful past.

This Saturday, I hope to delve into the history of Malcolm, in and out of the Nation of Islam, and objectively assess his motivation for leaving an organization, he worked tirelessly to support.

A discussion you don’t want to miss.

If time permits, we will also review the opening of the U.S. Embassy in the state of israel; what is the material difference in the lives of both the Palestinians and Israelis? Sadly, emotions have run wild, as dozens have been killed, along the Gaza Strip. What about the Christian evangelicals? While I respect their strong push for family values, does Jim Hagee really believe this opening of the embassy, is a sign of something monumental, in support of his religious belief? Does Netanyahu believe he can connect all of this to David (PPUH)? That somehow, President Trump’s decision, make him any better friend of the state of israel, than Barack Obama, who’s been unfairly accused of being hostile to his nation and its objectives?

Please keep in mind, the abbreviated hours, during the month of Ramadan.
