As-Salaam-Alaikum,

WIth my issues with President Trump’s foreign policy stances, domestically, he is a force, the likes of which I’ve never seen.

Despite 107 GOP politicians, urging him not to impose tariffs on aluminum and steel, he stuck to his guns, arguing that America has been “treated badly”. He will reportedly will use leverage from the tariffs to bring Canada and Mexico to the table, to retool NAFTA, which I understood, was never in the best interests for the United States of America (had to specify, because if I just said “America”, someone would retort, “they’re Americans too”.)

Senator Jeff Flake of Arizona (an established Trump hater) claims that no one wins in a Trade War; wait a minute, outside of the philosophical “no one ever wins in a war”, isn’t there usually a winner and loser in a war or contest? Well, I know what side I want to be on.

Speaking of foreign policy /affairs, the leaders of both Koreas met, to discuss among issues, NOKO’s military policy. To be honest, when I saw the photo of the NOKO and SOKO leaders, my mind flashed back to the classic illustration, which graced the cover of the Muhammad Speaks newspaper. Maybe, because of Trump or despite him, “The brothers can work it out”?

Gun policy is still at the forefront of the public’s mind. Is it true that CNN’s townhall about the Parkland, Florida shootings were so full of vitriol, that NRA spokeswoman, Dana Loesch had to be escorted out by armed guards? Were her gun-control detractors going to shoot her?

How about AG Sessions, taking California to task, for defying the law the Mayor of Oakland, who tipped off illegal immigrants, on pending LEGAL actions by ICE? Of course, they whined about being "bullied" by the feds.
