Critical Discourse: The Swamp's Last Stand (Though, not right Now)

As-Salaam-Alaikum (God's Peace upon You),

That was his campaign theme, but I never dreamed it was so - swampy.

The opposition against President Trump, is intense, indeed; name-calling seems to be the order of the day, instead of dealing with the merits of the arguments, pro or con. 

The stock market, after record highs, has experienced intense volatility, changes as much as 1,000 points. Still, relatively strong, but must be a somewhat embarrassing to the President, considering his touting the 26,000+ volume, at the [amazing] State of the Union Address. As I understand it, anticipated rise in interest rates, has been a major factor.

Should President Trump allow the Democrat's memo, to go public? I do find it interesting, how, just the other day, they decried the threat to national security, when it was the GOP memo.

Liberal commentator, Chris Matthews, accused the GOP of "attacking" House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi, because she's "an ethnic sort of person". After 8 years of the race card, under the Obama Administration, and what would have been the woman card, had Hillary won, do we now have to endure charges of the "ethnicity card"?

This, being Black History Month, let us reflect on our accomplishments (and shortcomings), so that we become a stronger and more viable people - God Willing
