As-Salaam-Alaikum (God's Peace against You),

I must admit, my head is spinning on axis (maybe, off), at the happenings around the world, perhaps, as we are the closest to a nuclear confrontation, since the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962, with JFK vs. Khrushchev vs. Castro. Today, it's Trump vs. Un.

North Korean leader, Kim Jung Un, the second, in succession, since the founding of that nation, has been painted by the media, as an outright nut and danger to civilization. Is he? Have we “conscious” folk, turning a blind eye, to the reality, that he is nowhere, near a revolutionary? There is no way; we can even give justice, to understanding the conflict between North and South Korea, a simmering issue, since 1950. Maybe, we are sub-consciously replacing “Viet Cong” with “North Korea”, in the famous line, by Muhammad Ali (“… ever call me a nigger”).

What I do find striking, is the sense I get, that there are large segments of this country, including politicians, that are actually, siding with Kim Jung Un, due to their visceral hatred of Donald Trump, who is practically being blamed for the pending crisis.

To that point, we have Mitch McConnell, complaining about Trump’s “excessive expectations” (yes, Mitch, get back to work).

The president is focusing on defeating the opioid epidemic (it is interesting, how, unlike when WE were the subjects, no one is calling illegal drugs, “dope”). But, his victory here, is our victory, everywhere.

Did you hear that Hillary Clinton is thinking about becoming a pastor? REVERAND (note: this is NOT a misprint) Clinton? Satan in the Pulpit?
