As-Salaam-Alaikum,

Like it or not, there will be new President of the United States, come January 20, 2017, and the lot of the citizenry, from the sitting president on down, is behaving very badly.

To recap, blaming the FBI, the state recounts and the related Russian hacking conspiracy theory, where even the CIA is being deployed.

To be honest, I would be remiss to suggest that no nation, including Russia, is innocent of computer hacking its adversaries, real or imagined, but the big issue here, is the charges, that not only did Russia hack the DNC databases, but went as far as altering the votes in certain states, in favor of Donald Trump.

One of the popular narratives in recent days, are the reports of increasing hate crimes committed by whites against other peoples - purportedly inspired by the "hateful rhetoric" of Trump (while not fully ruling this out, a number have been proven to be hoaxes). In Chicago, a few days back, 4 black people (shamefully, two females, which shows how low we've gone as a people – strong black woman syndrome), kidnapped and brutally beat a disabled white man, hurling anti-Trump and anti-white slurs.

What was most fascinating, was despite what the Facebook-posted video showed, the liberal press bent over backwards, not to classify it as a "hate crime".

Would you believe, there are people who want to legalize drugs like heroin and cocaine? They must be "high" on something! Of course, they point to what is a failed war on drugs, which has only meant more shooting deaths and "mass incarceration" of black men. We'll discuss the implications of such a policy, looking at the policies of Portugal and the Philippines.

Join us this Saturday, for a spirit-filled and most intellectually-directed discussion on Critical Discourse.
