As-Salaam-Alaikum,

Is it over? Eight years of fawning, mental-prostration and intellectual shutdown, the likes of which must never occur again.

No, I could never have IMAGINED it, as we just witnessed the engagement of one of the most prolific cartoon characters ever to grace the White House.

A man who could do no wrong; if you were white, and criticized him, you were a racist, and if black, a sellout. Never saw anything like it, and hope I never will.

Interestingly, Mr. Obama complained that conservative pundits made him into a “fictional character”.

It seems interesting, that after 8 years of a severely liberal agenda and ideology, one would speak of fiction, much less rue about it. Maybe, there were those who were just too “racist” and “self-hating”, in that they undertook the task to critically analyzing what the man believed, wrote and put into play.

November 8th, hand recounts, Russian Hacking, all attempts to coronate one Hillary Clinton, who practically tasted the presidency, and throughout, blaming “angry white males” for the devastating loss, in November.

Like it or not, it’s the era of Trump, and given some of his recent remarks on world and domestic affairs, there may be reason to be concerned.

Looks like the conversations on Critical Discourse, will be livelier than ever – which is a good thing, as “Steel Sharpens Steel”, and as I inferred earlier, this is IT. We’re either going to build, preserve and defend what we put in place, for perpetuity, or spend the next 4 – 20 years in the familiar “victim” role.

To quote JFK,  LET US BEGIN, and to quote LBJ, LET US CONTINUE
