SCOTUS 7 - Thomas 1: A Look at the "Injustice" of an All-White Jury

Join us this Saturday, June 4, 2016, for our pre-Ramadan edition of Critical Discourse, as we discuss the following:

1)    Justice Clarence Thomas' dissenting vote in Foster v. The State, whereby the majority determined that by virtue of their being an all white jury in a murder case, with a black man [eventually] convicted of murdering a white woman, such rendering of a guilty verdict, was not in violation of the murder's rights.

Did the Justice go too far "right", by not considering the strong possibility of racial bias in what appeared to be a "stacked" jury?

Then again, if the defendant, Timothy Tyrone Foster, did confess to rape and murder, what bearing does the racial makeup of the jury, play on the verdict?

2)   Kudos to brother Mamadou Diallo of The Bronx, New York, who rose to the occasion to protect his wife from a would-be rapist, rendering justice.

Yet, he faces criminal charges?

Maybe, maybe, maybe, he went to far in executing action, which led to the death of his wife's attacker?

3) "Hillarious" Hillary Clinton's Foreign Policy Speech. 

To think that SHE may get the "codes"?
