Last week on Critical Discourse, we covered the controversial NDAA, signed into law by President Obama on New Year’s Eve, 2011.

Depending on who you talk to, this law has far reaching implications with regards to the compromising of our civil liberties. It has been said that the government now has sweeping powers to detain anyone suspected of terrorism, without any sort of due process, indefinitely.

However, while this writer has made it a point that process might just be what is needed to encourage Obama's many supporters to critically analyze him, his Administration and its policies, it is possible that the criticism levied at him in this regard, is unfounded and unjustified.

To make some sense of it all, tune in to Critical Discourse on January 14th, to go full blast with stimulating and thought-provoking conversation and discourse.
