Mother's Day w/Live Oak Legacies; Kinky Friedman!; Tandems for Troops; &The Brew

This is a Mother's Day special, live on-location TBA (possibly at Oasis, the Sunset Capital of Texas)

My guest will be Kathryn Gonzales, of Live-Oak Legacies, committed to helping families capture and preserve the stories, recipes, photographs and relics held the most dear.

Also joining us will be musician, author, entrepeneur, and the Governor of the Heart of Texas, Kinky Friedman!

We will also be joined by combat veteran and skydive instructor, Eric Normandin, who will tell us about a special event on Memorial Day weekend, in upstate NY, called Tandems for Troops, in association with the Wounded Warriors organization. Eric and some other tandem instructors will be taking disabled veterans on tandem skydives from 14,000 feet over the gorgeous upstate New York landscape, at no cost to the veterans.  They are raising money for this event in conjunction with raising money for the Women’s World Record 201-way formation skydive at Perris, CA. (My previous guest, Montana Miller, will be participating in that event).  

The Brew will be our music guests!

AND, since May is National Meditation Month & National Mental Health Month, I will discuss Meditation FOR Mental Health!
