Welcome to the next show from our one year bible study.  Tonight we are in what is described as Pauls prison ministry.  The reason being that these books were written while he was in prison or house arrest.  You will want to take notes for sure.  This one year bible study is winding down and we hope that you have enjoyed it as much as we have.  Be sure and friend our show page and our Your Place face book page. Please try to remember that these churches that Paul is speaking to started with the message that was preached by Peter in Chapter 2.  The issues that are coming up in the early church is easy to understand if you look at the churches of today. They had practiced the law and all of its commandments, feast days, and the law of sacrifice to put off their sin from one year to the next for thousands of years.   Many of these teachings kept trying to creep back into the New Testiment church.  Most of our modern church history was established by the Catholic church due to their power and trying to maintain control of the scriptures.  Their teachings have crept into many modern christian church teachings even though they are not in the bible. The worst part is the creeping in of compromise.  Also a problem with the early church. Each generation has tried to find acceptence to others in this world so that again the church is the enemy of change, and accpetance of sin.  Its jsut a matter of time before we too will be considered criminals for our stand to the word of GOD.  That is why we are seeing so many churches being built that are non-denominational.  They can go with the flow and teach the scriptures putting love as a way of acceptance of sin.  The true message of acceptance is for all people, and not for sin. Bill  believes that it is not going to be long and in this country we will understand what it is to be jailed for your faith, or even worse!
