Welcome to our one year bible study where we are still in the book of Acts.  As the song stated to start this show tonight.  With the enactment of the new testiment church that is described in detail in Acts chapter 2.  God gave us a gift that will provide us the power that is needed to be more then an overcomer! We have the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony that brings us the ability to be an overcomer.  But with the Gift of the Holy Ghost. We can now be more then just an overcomer.  People who say that you do not need to have this gift working in your life are either being used by the devil to come against people understanding exactly what the working of the Holy Ghost can do for your spiritual walk with GOD.  It is like telling someone that they do not need gasoline to put into that new vehicle you just spent a lot of money to buy.  There are times I like to get my family in my car and just cruise around the mountains here in Tennessee.  There are other times that I need my vehicle to get us to a location, or to even transport things that I need to feed or orovide other needs for my family.  The Holy Ghost is not meant to be a gift that just sits in a box to be admired.  It is the gift that will lead and guide us into all truth!  The Holy Ghost is what  provides prayers for situations when I do not know exactly what to pray. Do you know what it takes to be a beliver of Jesus Christ?  It takes repentence of sin, baptisem in Jesus name for the remission of those sins, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in another tongue.  Every example provided that established the early churches in the book of Acts.  This is what happened.  Does your bible not tell you to not just be a hearer of the word but to also be a doer of the word? So don/t fight it or look for reasons to justify not obeying.  Just do it!
