One Year Bible Study Part 41

Welcome to, "Your Place".  Yesterday was Memorial Day,  We have been doing shows in the past on our goverment, wars, past memorial day speeches, and of late addressing PTSD.  We love our military!  Did you know that this Holiday was established to remember those that gave their life for the freedoms that we all enjoy? Did you know that we lost 116,516 military in ww1, 405,399 in WW2, 36,574 in Korea, 58,220 in Vietnam, 383 in Gulf war, and the numbers are a bit murky when looking at other conflicts in the middle east.  From our research as of yesterday  the number stands at 6,997 US troops that have died in these battles in the middle east. For sure the price of our freedom is not free.  We are going to have a guest speaker hopefully next week speaking to reaching out to our military troops.  This is an group that needs to be reached to show our appreciation for their sacrifice to serve. Our Bible study tonight has a few battles in it as we continue to follow up last week where a King sought to have a wife of rare beauty and how God was working in this process. Tonight we get more of the story.
