Why Do People of Faith Believe we are meant to have it all?

Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place".  We are always looking for guest speakers who have a sermon or lesson that they feel fits into the needs of those who follow Jesus. The only qualification is that you have to be able to answer questions or respond to comments on the topic at the end of each show.  This sounds a lot worse then it really is! After several of our shows we have been doing some serious sould searching and study into the word of God.  We have also looked at documented history of the church. We all love the concepts of grace, mercy, freedom, and salvation.  We claim to appreciate the cost that was paid for our salvation.  The message today of the largest church groups is based on prosperity, and living the better life while being a follower of Jesus.  In this thought process is the church falling asleep and letting their oil run out? In looking at the end of time where people speak of pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, and post tribulation.  Many speak of how we as the bride can be assured that Jesus will not allow his bride to suffer.  We are going to take you back in history and share with you what the church of Rome did to the bride of Christ.  As always we look forward to your comments or questions.
