Power of the Group thought process! Good or Bad?

Welcome to another show!  Tonight Wild Bill has us looking at where the bible speaks of groups of people making their own plan.  Sometimes in the Bible, we have seen small groups do great things, and other times we can see where a group misses the mark! The question tonight, is there a power that can blind us so that we can be part of a group and still miss the mark?  If so, could our eternal soul be at risk?  Is it possible to lock into christian teaching and lifestyle as a group and end up in hell?  Maybe that is why we were warned to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling!  Tonight, this is not a sermon or even a bible study.  It is more of a conversation with Bill as he once again tries to get us to think outside of the box.  This should start the thought process for all of us.  2Th 2:10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 2Th 2:12  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2Th 2:13  But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Mat 7:22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Mat 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Common sense would make you think that we would fault to trying to be too close to God Vs what feels good or fits our logic. But we all know common sense is not common!
