"Let us live in today, for yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised" James 4:13-17

It is good to have goals, but goals can and sometime will disappoint us if we leave God out of our planning. There is no point in making plans as though God does not exist because the future is in his hands.  To live with no motivation or planning is not God’s desire for our lives. Making plans that are out of the will of God will not produce the result that you may be looking for.  God has a plan for all our lives, and it was designed before the foundation of the world.  Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the plans that I think toward you, said the LORD, thought of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God has an expected end in mind and an intended purpose for all of us. The Bible teaches against two extremes: Someone who never set goals which is slothfulness or others who set goals with no thought of God. Nothing can or will happen unless God allows or produce it.  Line your goals up with the will of God, which is His word and you will never fail, God has created our existence before the foundation of the world and we must make our plans loosely and allow God will to be done. We must always remember that God is in control.  We should always say if its God will we will do this or that. If we look around in this world someone is here today and gone today.  Plan are made and many time change.  If we take a look at our lives and where we are today was not our intention or how we thought it would be.  Some better and some may be worst which lets us know we are not in total control.
