"Out with the Old and in with the New"  Malachi 3rd Chapter

It was always God’s plan to have a people that love Him and that He could love. He wanted an interment relationship and a perfect complete fellowship with His people. So before the foundation of the world because He knew that man would fall and placed the law in effect to Reveal God’s Standard of Righteousness, because sin had separated God from them.  The Old Testament Law was to show the people the need for forgiveness for sin. The sacrificial system of animals was placed into effect, but it was only a temporary solution because it only covered sin and didn’t have the power to remove the sin.  That’s why the sacrifices had to be done over and over again. God knew that the sacrifice of animals and man trying to live by the law was an impossible task, because man in and of himself would never be able to achieve total righteous living by obeying all 613 laws.  Nothing that happens can take God by surprise and He’s always working it all out for our good. God knew a permanent solution was needed.

If you watch closely, you will see the plans of God unfold.  Out with the old and in with the new. Malachi is the last book in the Old Testament and God is about to fulfill the prophecies and promises established throughout the Old Testament.  The promise of the Messiah, everything in the Old Testament points to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior if you look closely you will see.
