“Jesus is ready to face His destiny”  Luke 22:39-53

Jesus had just finished the Last Supper where He let them know that that would be the last time He would eat with them until it is done in His Kingdom. This lets us know that nothing can take Jesus by surprise. Jesus knew the writing of the prophets and the law and that why He said He didn’t come to abolish them, but to fill and now He was ready to face His destiny. Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane which is  located on the lower slope of Mount of Olives.  The Garden of Gethsemane is a place where Jesus often prayed that is how Judas knew where to find Him.  People watch you and know your pattern good or bad, and uses them to their advance, for you or against you.  All twelve disciples were with Him when He arrived at the Garden, but He only took three in with Him to pray, Peter, James and John, His inner circle. He separated Himself from them and kneeled down to pray..

He was ready to face His destiny that God ordained in His Master Plan and God has given each one of us a destiny with a purpose and all provisions are included.  We all should do as Jesus did, not our will but do the will of the Father.
