"Who do they say you are"  Matthew 5:13-16  Let you light so shine  Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. When we become a new creature in Christ, when we are born again, we are called to be the light, to be imitators of God who is light. Our goal is to take on the image of His Son, to be Christ like, who is the light of the world. Once you realize that ye are the salt and the light of the world then you should let you light so shine.  Christian as salt and light may be dimmed by your choice to compromise or settle for that which is more convenient or comfortable, rather than that which is truly best and pleasing to the Lord. Be not conformed to this world. Proverbs 4:18 says But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The more you know by studying God’s word and then becoming a doer and not just a hearer, the more you should show by your works and deed, causing your light to shine.  People of this world won’t read the bible but they will read you. Some Christian’s lights are so dull that no one pays attention to the God they serve.  You are not afforded the privilege to do it your way and expect your light to shine.
