“One of The Worst Sins in The World is the Sin of Ingratitude”

Luke 17:11-19

The Holiday Season fast approaching and tomorrow is Thanksgiving, I thought it would be a good time to reflect on all the things we should be thankful for.  We live in a world where kindness in all form from someone to another is often overlooked which is a form of ingratitude. Ingratitude is simply the state of being ungrateful and or a state of unthankfulness. You either have a spirit of thankfulness or you don’t. We must learn to thank God for what we have and trust Him for what we need. As we go through this bible study tonight I pray that you reflex on all of the many blessing that God has bestowed on you and your family.  If it had not been for the Lord on our side where would you be, lost in sin and destined for Hell.  I realize that if the Lord decided not to do anything else for me, He has already done enough and I am grateful.  If you take the time and look back over your life and really think things over you can truly say that you have been bless and you should have a testimony of thanksgiving, which is the act of giving thanks; grateful acknowledgment of benefits or favors, especially to God.  God allowed His only begotten Son die so that you may live.  Everything that God does is for your benefit even when we are ungrateful, disobedient; often putting Him on the back burners and still He blesses you.  The bible says while you were living in you sin God was working all things out for you good concerning your salvation, what a mighty God we serve.
