Can a Christian Lose their Salvation?  Once Saved always saved.

Do you ever find yourself wondering...is it actually possible to know, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that I am going to heaven or as some would say wherever Jesus is? If you say that my salvation is "eternally secure" and that I can never lose it, does that mean that I can commit any sin and still go to heaven?  John 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer in it? We have to take a close look at what Eternal Security means. When people come to know Christ as their Savior, they are brought into a relationship with God that guarantees their eternal security. Jude 24 declares, "To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy." God's power is able to keep the believer from falling. It is up to Him, not us, to present us before His glorious presence. Our eternal security is a result of God keeping us, not us maintaining our own salvation. The Lord Jesus Christ proclaimed, "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jphn 3:16
