When we look at these seven letters to seven churches in Asia Minor which  is modern day Turkey we will be able to hear what the Spirit has to say to us. To fully understand the message we must realize that we are the church that Jesus said He is coming back for His Church the believers. Also remember God gave the message to Jesus, the message is about Jesus by Jesus. Jesus gives it to His angels who give it to John who is now giving it to us. Revelation is the unveiling of the mysteries of God. Jesus Christ established the Church shortly after the Day of Pentecost about 33 AD.  John received this message and wrote it some believe around or about 90 AD.  Everything written between Acts and Revelation was reveling the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit to us so that we would, Praise, Believe, Trust and except all the information as Truth and live a life pleasing to God. The bible says In 2 Timothy 3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.  God has given us instruction on how to live a righteous life in this world and Revelation is lettings us know that this is not our home.
