Everything about Jesus is good news which is called the Gospel.  The gospel is the good news concerning Christ which is our only way for salvation.  The key to understanding the gospel is to know why it's good news, "The Gospel is the sum total of the saving truth as God has communicated it to lost humanity as it is revealed in the person of His Son and in the Holy Scripture, the Bible.  Read it and you too will know why the news is so good.
