Harriet Dennis is the founder and president of Issues of Life International Ministries, a church equipping and planting ministry. She is a graduate of the University of Baltimore with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jurisprudence and attended St. Mary’s Theological Seminary in Baltimore and Loyola University graduate program for pastoral counseling. Her studies led to a pastoral assignment for 7 years with the Community Church of Christ of Severna Park, Maryland. After a 19 year career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Forensic Examiner in Washington, D.C., Harriet entered into fulltime ministry with the Macedonian Ministries, an organization of pastors and churches worldwide, headed by Dr. John A. Cherry, Episcopal Pastor of From the Heart Church Ministries, Temple Hills, Maryland. Harriet was an affiliate member of the Macedonian Ministries and later became the Executive Coordinator (EC) for the ministry, working with pastors, leaders and churches around the world assisting in the growth and development of their ministry. She established Issues of Life International Ministries (IOL) in 2007. IOL has planted churches in Colorado Springs and Denver, CO and now have IOL Churches in Kissi, Kenya. Harriet is currently developing the IOL Leadership Institute with the vision to provide communities around the world with healthy churches and trained and developed, highly regarded, God-inspired leaders. IOL also holds LIFE (Living In Freedom Every Day) Conference to help people unpack the issues of life in order to grow in a stronger and deeper relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. The overall mission of IOL is to see people saved, healed, delivered, discipled and set free from bondage and brokenness and to fulfill this mission with the strategy to—Evangelize the Lost—Edify the Body of Christ—Equip the Church—Empower Believers—Enlarge the Kingdom
