Marty A. Brounstein : An Author On a Journey With a MissionThe courage and compassion to do the right thing; that’s a major theme that resonates with audiences when they hear San Mateo, CA-based author Marty A. Brounstein talk on his book Two Among the Righteous Few: A Story of Courage in the Holocaust.    It’s a story of a Christian couple, Frans and Mien Wijnakker, who saved the lives of at least two dozen Jews during World War II and the Holocaust. This book takes Marty back to his early career as an educator, when he was teaching history including the Holocaust. This true and remarkable story has a meaningful personal connection as well, which Marty reveals in his engaging presentations. Marty has been on quite an unexpected journey of delivering storytelling presentations to a wide variety of audiences.  He is now into his 7th year of this journey, over 625 events and with more coming.  The events have occurred throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, his home base, and 13 other cities, with New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Seattle among them, and Boston coming up as the 14th area this June.  The engagements have been in such places as churches, synagogues, Muslim organizations, community centers, social service organizations, Hadassah groups, private homes, bookstores, schools, universities, libraries, book clubs, history and Holocaust museums, conferences and workplaces.  www.martyabrounstein.com
