Hi listeners & welcome to another edition of Weekdays with Murph.  I'm so excited to be welcoming today's guest to the show.  Born in Colorado and raised in Massachusetts, Josh Wingate stepped on a stage for the first time at the age of 15 and knew he was home.  He worked steadily in local and regional theatre productions and starred in "Bay State", the longest-running college soap opera, before ultimately relocating to Los Angeles.  In just a few years, Wingate has racked up quite an impressive resume, from ABC's "Castle" to Showtime's "Dexter".

Wingate's impressive recurring role as Carter, an inmate who sexually assaults a fellow prisoner (Chad Duell's "Michael"), earned him a 2011 Soap Opera Spirit Award nomination.  This groundbreaking storyline marked the first time daytime television ever tackled the subject of male survivors of sexual violence.

On the big screen, Wingate has just wrapped World War Z as well as the indie feature film, Inverse, his first lead role in a feature film.

A skilled martial artist, Wingate continues to train regularly.  He is privileged to lend his time and talents to causes ranging from youth mentoring to health and wellness.

Josh sits down with me today to chat about his impressive career, his new projects & of course, no interview would be complete without chatting a little GH, would it
