"My name is Shawna and my store is Modern Vintage.  It’s a “hip” new store in the heart of Galveston’s art district right across from our famous 1824 Grand Opera House.  We bring a unique combination and many styles to the island under one 5000 sq ft roof!  A very pleasant mixture of old and new.  Eclectic with a flair!  We feature new and upcycled furniture and home décor, multiple clothing lines, jewelry, accessories and many different gift items.

I scour markets far and wide to find unique, one-of-a-kind treasures to add to this design style I love so very much!  I can’t say I’m in favor of a particular style, but I have my ways of working with items to give it Old-world flair with a zing; got to have a little bohemian chic…or perhaps an antique style with a modern twist!  My passion for vintage, mixed with modern elements has created a style all on its own…which is where my slogan “A Style Is Born” came from.  As a Flea Market Stylist, I hope to make you fall head over heels with a style you never knew you loved!!"
