Denise fell down the yoga rabbit hole in 1996 and has been immersed in the practice, study and teaching of yoga ever since. She completed her first yoga teacher training with Bikram Choudhury in 1998, and gave birth to Dallas' first Bikram yoga studio in 2000.  While living in Dallas, she also became a Licensed Massage Therapist and studied Thai Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  

Her journey then took her to Boulder, Colorado where she trained and performed as a Circus Artist, performing aerial dance, tight-wire, and contortion. During that time, she also studied Sanskrit at Naropa University, completed her second yoga teacher training at Core Power Yoga, and discovered the teachings of Tibetan Heart Yoga and Buddhism. Inspired by the union of Yoga and Dharma, Denise embarked on a path of in-depth study and advanced yoga certification through the Yoga Studies Institute and the Asian Classics Institute and continues to immerse herself in the deeper teachings of yoga and Buddhism delivered exquisitely by her Teachers: Lama Sumati Marut, Cindy Lee, and Kelly Lindsey.  Find out more about Denise here!
