My guest tonight, Robert Stanley, is both a long-time friend and colleague, and a world-class investigative journalist.

Originally intended to explore the latest research and philosophical musings around the crucial question "What happens when we die?", tonight's conversation is framed by the tragic news of basketball superstar, Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter's, untimely death in a morning helicopter crash northwest of Los Angeles.

Adding to the gravity of our upcoming conversation, is the simultaneously rising death toll coming out of China, caused by the accelerating spread of the "Wuhan Corona virus."

Robert, who for many years was a resident of the Chinese city of Hong Kong, is uniquely qualified to comment on the Chinese medical capabilities and governmental response to this potential global epidemic, which may ultimately affect the lives of the citizens of many other nations ... far outside of China.
