What are "cryptro-currencies" (even sounds a bit dodgy -- like "crypto-zoology" ...)?

At any rate, tonight we're going to explore, in-depth, "Bitcoin" ... "Etherum" ... "Ripple" ... "Litecoin" ... "Dash" ... "Ethereum Classic" ... "Monero" ... "Zcash" ... etc, etc., etc.

The names (and numbers) of these 21st Century efforts to create "alternative mediums of exchange" are as fluid as Kim Kardashian's hair color ... and as reliable as the virtual reality world of computer "bits and bytes" they've been born into!
