Today on Living A Legacy, Eric Couch and Neil Haley will interview Mark Rypien.

MARK RYPIEN was the Super Bowl XXVI MVP winner and quarterback for the Washington Redskins. After a stellar careerplaying football, Rypien suffered severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and PTSD. Hetried to commit suicide twice before getting help from Dr. Daniel Amen and Dr.Robert Sammons who work with TBI survivors. He is now doing well and overseeing his pediatric hospital inSpokane that he founded in memory of his 3-year-old son Andrew.

Mark is now featured in the new film Quiet Explosions: Healing the Brain, the new groundbreaking documentary directed by two time Emmy award winning director, Jerri Sherr. QUIET EXPLOSIONS follows the incredible journey of professional athletes, veterans and first responders with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and PTS (Post Traumatic Stress) who have recovered their brains from the disease’s devastating effects, going on to live a healthy, full life. The film features radio personality, Joe Rogan, a strong supporter of veterans.
