Joshua started got his first taste for fitness as he started as a front desk receptionist at a small boutique gym. As time passed, the owner saw potential and encouraged him to begin training clients. His
background as a male model in fashion truly helped to understand aesthetics and my experience as a professional basketball player helped me understand the process and work ethic needed to help someone attain their fitness goals. He was able to build up a clientele rather quickly developed a methodology called Core Concepts and ventured on to open his first gym.
After helping a couple clients lose over a 100 pounds, he started to attract recognition from national media publications including CNN, Shape, Access Hollywood and many more. He was featured on the show, Extra for a workout with Mario Lopez at The Grove in LA. went on to release a DVD set called “TransCoremation” that sold over 250,000 copies globally. As apps became more popular in the fitness arena, Lipsey developed a fitness app called “Gym Tuck” that garnered quick success and helped him to finally open his first boutique gymnasium where he created his own unique class concept called CORE TONE with custom designed stations and woodway treadmills. The CORE studio has been open for two years and is one of the hottest workouts in Toronto.
