Today on The Neil Haley Show, The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Miami Book Fair Author JENNINE CAPÓ CRUCET, Author of My Time Among the Whites.

She attended Cornell University. She is currently Associate Professor of English and Ethnic Studies at the University of Nebraska.[1]

Her work has appeared in the New York Times.[2]

She is best known for her short story collection How to Leave Hialeah which focuses on her experiences as a Cuban-American woman growing up in a working-class neighborhood of Miami.[3] For this collection she won the John Gardner Book Award.[4] Her second book, Make Your Home Among Strangers, was released in 2015.
