The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview John C. McGinley of STAN AGAINST EVIL.

IFC’s original horror-comedy series Stan Against Evil is returning to haunt and delight viewers abound. The 8- episode second season premieres Wednesday, November 1 at 10PM, and will air weekly on Wednesdays with two episodes back-to-back at 10PM and 10:30PM. Created by Dana Gould (The Simpsons, Parks and Recreation) and starring John C. McGinley (Scrubs) and Janet Varney (You’re The Worst), Season 1 premiered in 2016 to critical acclaim, and concluded with Sheriff Evie Barret (Varney) stranded in the year 1692 and about to be burned at the stake, accused of being a witch.

Season 2 picks up again in Willard’s Mill, the small New England town where the perpetually disgruntled former sheriff Stan Miller (McGinley) must begrudgingly get off his couch to solve the mystery of Evie’s time-travelling disappearance. Through thick and thin, the unlikely team continues to battle against the unleashing of wicked demons trying to take over their quaint town, which happens to be built on the site of a massive 17th century witch burning.
